GATES MILLS, Ohio — Gilmour Academy's varsity girls basketball team picked up a decisive road victory Monday, defeating Avon High School 53-25.

Annie Sullivan led all scorers with 24 points for the Lancers. Erin Rossoll added 11 points, and Morgan Pfundstein chipped in eight as Gilmour Academy controlled the game from start to finish against the Eagles.

Gilmour Academy returns to action Saturday, Dec. 27, when it travels to Richmond Heights. The varsity game is scheduled for 1 p.m.
