Fred Krause is in his first season as an assistant coach with Gilmour’s Varsity B team in the 2021-22 season.

Krause grew up playing hockey in Cleveland—first in the Garfield Heights youth program and then at Trinity High School. Following high school, he played at Adrian College (ACHA) where his team won three Division III National Championships during his time.

Krause coached at Garfield Heights before joining the Gilmour Youth Hockey Association program in 2015 as an assistant coach with the 14-U Bantam program. In addition to coaching at GYHA, Krause recently completed his sixth season as an assistant coach at Lakewood High School.
